I found Rez Hearts about five months ago and began volunteering. Brooke has been the absolute sweetest and most caring person I have ever worked with in the horse world. She cares so much for her students and their families and has a real gift for teaching and encouraging. Rez Hearts was an answer to my prayers and I am so blessed to have been a part of this community! 

We are new to Colorado and my little girl had to leave her horse and trainer in California. She was heartbroken till she met Brooke at Resurrecting Hearts! What a blessing to my family and my baby girl. This place is the best! Brooke is warm, loving, caring, and like a big sister to my child. I could not have hand-picked a better individual to teach my child about horsemanship and all the training for life that goes along with this. The horses are so friendly, sweet, and loving to the children. These horses are being raised with love and the minute you see them you will know it.

I have been riding at Resurrecting Hearts Horsemanship for not-quite a year. Since I started, I have learned an incredible amount about horses as well as how to form a relationship with them, become a better rider, and grow closer to Christ. Brooke is a fantastic teacher and is so knowledgeable about all things equine. (I mean, really, how is it possible to know so much about these beautiful creatures?!) I have had the pleasure of riding every single lesson horse she has, and learned something new from each and every one of them. There's just something special about the bond you can have with a horse, and I never want to forget the wonderful feeling of cantering for the first time, going on a trail ride, having a sleepover at the ranch (even despite unruly weather), experiencing the thrill of liberty work, and even just something as simple as grooming a horse and really "feeling" them. I can't express enough how fantastic Rez Hearts is and what it's done for me. I love every single thing about it, from the beautiful horses to the spunky goats and everything in between. Thank you so much, Brooke and the Resurrecting Hearts family, for everything you've done for me--and every other person who's been impacted by the love of these horses as well as the love of Christ. 

We've been taking lessons with Brooke for over 3 years now. She has been a huge supporter of our daughter's dream to one day do something with animals. She encourages relying on God with a good attitudes, kindness and a little bit of effort can resolve most of life's toughest problems. And even when you fall down, the best thing you can do is get back up and try again. She teaches all of these things, while encourageing a love for horses and their sweethearted nature. 

The first words out of my mouth after visiting Resurrecting Hearts Horsemanship for the first time was, "WOW! This is a piece of heaven!" Brooke and her animals are truly special and you can feel it the second you walk up. I instantly felt so welcomed. I am so impressed by the temperament of all of the animals. They are all so great with the kids. I love how Brooke teaches the kids everything about horses, not just riding. She teaches them chores, ground work, grooming, saddling, riding, the different parts of the horse, etc. I love that she does bible study with the kids as well. There are so many valuable lessons that can be taught through the animals. I have never seen a horsemanship program that is so in-depth. You and/or your kids will learn a lot from Brooke. She is a wealth of knowledge and a strong woman of faith. I highly recommend her program. It has been an absolute honor to volunteer with this program. You will leave with such a full heart! 

My daughter has been attending this program for almost 3 years now. The experience has been much more than just learning how to ride a horse, but rather building relationships with the animals, other riders and of course, Brooke. The stories of the horses and the obstacles they have all overcome to be ridable are so inspirational. The devotionals that are a part of every lesson is something my teenage daughter even looks forward to. The community is so blessed to have Rez Hearts and I look forward to seeing what the future holds and the impact they can make. 

Resurrecting Hearts Horsemanship and Brooke have been the best program we have worked with. We moved from WA, and the barn my daughter took lessons at was very clicky and the owner definitely had favorites (the actual instructor was much better). My daughter was very concerned we weren't going to find somewhere here that taught English riding. The first time we went for a private lesson, I knew this was the best place for her as she entered her teen years. Brooke's knowledge, encouragement, care and patience have given my daughter a new confidence, more skills, and a desire to teach others about these magnificent creatures and riding. My daughter no longer says "I can't," has a better attitude when faced with challenges, and has faced her apprehension with the other farm animals. She has helped Brooke with herding goats, vaccinations, and various chores. Brooke has also let her assist with the younger programs and newer riders. My daughter has grown so much this past year working with Brooke and Resurrecting Hearts and I'm so excited for the years to come. 
They are also very welcoming me and of our little ones (toddlers) and I wouldn't be surprised if the little guys grew up wanting to ride and help. Brooke has also let me ride with the girls and help groom the horses and it is so amazing for the soul. 

I have been riding horses for eight or so years now, and riding with Resurrecting Hearts for two of those years. In those two and on-going years I have learned so much and become more of an advanced rider than with any horse trainer. At Rez Hearts, not only have I become a better Equestrian in the saddle, but on the ground as well and have come closer to God. I have learned liberty (if you have not had to opportunity to do this with your horse, your missing out on a whole new world), groundwork, beginning dressage, basicjumping, drill, pleasure, gone on trail rides, and even gone camping with horses!!!!! Resurrecting Hearts Horsemanship is the best horse trainer out there, and not only wants the best for the rider, but the horse as well. All my knowledge as come from Rez Hearts. Whenever I end a lesson, my heart is full and brimming over. 

The Resurrecting Hearts Ranch is the most serene, love filled place in town. The animals on the ranch, the eagles and hawks, the geese all of Gods glory surrounds, certainly His love is overflowing through every leader and volunteer evident the moment you pull up. The sharing in The Word, and building life groups at a young age. There are not enough words to say how amazing this program is! 

Brooke and Rez Hearts is a Huge answer to prayer and is a blessing to our family. Brooke's passion for her students along with her rescue horses is such a gift. Her kindness, concern, teaching, guidance with the girls while working with the horses and bringing them closer to Christ in the lesson experience speaks to the passions of our hearts. The way Brooke comes along side these girls demonstrating horsemanship and bonding with her, all the rescued horses, as well as each other, and the Bible is such a beautiful ministry. Each week is the count down to our next day in the program with so much excitement to continue to learn and grow, build trust and confidence.
